"How dare you respond to my common-sense based objections with actual information!"

Right that's why I phrased my comment the way I did. Depending on the area it might be perceived as a trailer trash dog, a dog poor black people have, or a Latino dog. Either way, plenty of other breeds just as risky, if not more risky, that people don't perceive the same way.

I live near there and have to drive down the highway and look at billboards about how hard it is to be Jewish and like, I know that antisemitism is a serious problem but then these racist fuckers are around any corner and they reeeeeeeeeally undermine the message those billboards are trying to get across. Can't help but roll my eyes driving by those after reading about this, but maybe it's because I happen to live near a lot of very conservative Israelis who are constantly advocating for genocide while whining about how they're always victimized.

Oh okay, I misunderstood your comment as implying that the working class, though tax revenue, bore the burden of bailing out the banks, rather than saying that the working class paid for it because working class people had their house foreclosed upon.

I agree that it injected a tremendous amount of moral hazard into banking, but surely you aren't implying that the working class paid for the bailouts? You know that the federal government made money on the bailouts, right? It literally cost negative money, it's just that there weren't consequences for the conmen who all should have been jailed and prohibited from running banks ever again.

"Guys the system isn't broken, just one more big tweak and it'll be fine again, pinky promise."

Exactly, the conservatives have spent the last 40 years gradually doing exactly this and the Democrats have spent the last 40 years denying that reality and laughing off the right wing, talk show type populists while they slowly took control of the GOP and the court system.

Also Broward County, FL, specifically, would loooove to be an exclave. Huh? Huh? Could be pretty sweet!

Right, right, 9x19, 12-gauge, 5.56. Of course.

Oh my God shut the fuck up unless fewer people voted Dem in swing states... which they didn't. Stop refusing to address your addiction to moderation.

It does, but you're really tripping if you don't think the CCP commits egregious human rights abuses.

Well, it all ended so suddenly, mid scroll through the comments. After a dozen long years RIF, and for me reddit along with it, is finally dead. Thanks for all the entertainment RIF team, sincerely.
