Do PS3 games run for you?
What model PS3 is it? Some will have emulation only while older ones have some of the PS2 chips literally inside, so emulation is easier on the older ones.
Where are you getting your PS2 games from?

They have adapters for their wireless controllers, and I think you can use old controller shells and put new “guts” in to update them… if you have old controllers, of course!
