Why? My country doesn’t even have FM anymore. It shut down in 2017, frequencies repurposed for more useful things.

It’s an almost 100 years old technology..

USB-C does NOT in any way specify capabilities or transfer specifications. It only specifies the form factor of the plug.

The plug can be used for any number of things from USB2.0 or ThunderBolt4, to power transfer, hells, even things like analog audio can use the plug.

You can try using OpenCore Legacy Patcher to install a newer unsupported macOS.

Mbp from 2012 should have everything working in ventura with a bit of patching.
