Its not OK and we need to nationalize healthcare now. But much of that above graph is also associated with the obesity epedemic and the nutritional collapse (or caloric inflation) of the western diet. Government definitely has a role in that, but its much trickier than obliterating the medical insurance industry (which of course is also tricky).
That's been my survival mechanism. I'd be homeless otherwise but I was able to hyperfixate on work related things and become a workaholic after failing out of school (where I couldn't focus on courses I didn't like).
My life/work balance has never been good, but its awesome to be fixated on the thing people pay you money to do.
Former twitter engineer here. Maybe he paid more attention at his other companies but Elon was comically clueless about how the twitter machine worked. Hiring geohot and thinking a firmware cracker could make heads or tails of a massively distributed system was pure idiocy.
