They haven’t even replaced the sign for them in a couple stores near me, but the prices are pretty cheap already. I’m considering buying one of the bigger whole turkeys and just butchering it at home to make a bunch of different meals. The $16 ham I got ended up lasting me and my fiancé about 10 meals between the ham and the soup from the ham bones.

Nazi whitewashing in Alberta? I never would have expected 🙄.

I grew up in that province, and left as soon as I could. When I go back to look at my friends from high school on Facebook, pretty much all the ones that stayed in Alberta are the type of people who would like this. Alberta has done an amazing job at raising generations of ignorant, bigoted people and making everyone that did not fit that mould want to leave. The only ‘safe haven’ seems to be Calgary, and that is still a stretch.

Grocery stores already have their own versions of Black Friday they just don’t get advertised. Go in a couple days before and a couple days after major holidays and you. An always get good stuff for cheap. I bought a ham a couple weeks ago around Canadian thanksgiving and the price was at least 1/3 of what they would normally charge. After Indian festivals, I usually go to the store and can get desserts like ras malai for $1-$2 instead of $13.

The only thing that usually doesn’t get a big discount that is brought in for the holidays is turkey, since the price is already almost at a loss and they can stay frozen until Christmas if the store has room (and a good manager would make sure they can keep an order until Christmas frozen in the back to alleviate order issues during that time.)

I’m pretty sure Canada has been keeping their dollar down for decades to try and appeal to trade partners.

I think there will be some changes made the the policy if accessory developers can show that what they make is safe and secure. I’m pretty sure this is all being done to clamp down on cheating from using devices that allow you to use a M&KB, or devices that could be used for network manipulation/save manipulation. It seems like they didn’t really think it out fully, and probably assumed most disabled players use the XAC.

A low amount of minimum wage, most likely part time jobs. Give yourself a pat on the back!

I finished everything in the base game for Just Cause 4 last year, and it was literally taking me more time to drive from one activity to the next than to do the activity. But of course there has to be 80 of them

They should at least add in the archives mission to the game.

Kind of a misleading headline; he said that he couldn’t say no if they where to approach him, but he didn’t say he actively wants a movie.

Did you used to order sloppy steaks?

Seeing as how most farmers don’t make much at all for their products, I wonder who those subsidies actually go to.
