It's the only way they'll get anyone to show up. And with how fragile his ego is, this is likely high on his list.

It'll be hilarious if the crowd is even smaller than last time.

Why would she? It's a laptop, not a desktop ;)

Someone should take the Trump/Vance posters and turn them into Musk/Trump. That ought to get under his orange peel.

Can someone please set up an AI to track everything he does and says, parse out the important bits, and give us the rundown? Then he can yell into the void all he wants and we can keep our sanity while staying informed.

Sure, neither do I, but optics matter in politics.

That's not what I said. I said I'm not convinced how genuine he was in wanting to get it done. You can still do something you don't genuinely want to do; that's what half-assing something looks like.

I'm not so certain he was genuine in wanting to get that done, or at least to the extent. He's one of the reasons student debt is so hard to discharge, and played a role in manufacturing the current crisis.

He could use his "official acts" granted by the Supreme Circus to rid us once and for all of this turbulent turd. But he won't.

This is the interior of the computer. They hang it to reduce vibrations as well as thermal fluctuations. I work in a different area of physics, but my uni has one of these quant computers and I've spoken to my colleagues who work on it. When they need to run an experiment the whole setup gets enclosed in a vacuum-sealed container and brought down to near absolute zero. Really neat to see in person.
