I believe you're in the group wishing for a disastrous outcome.

I just wish we had STAR voting so additional candidates wouldn't increase the risk of Trump winning the election. So many people are either blind to the present danger or they spread misinformation because they hate the US.

Is this related to differences in prefrontal cortex maturity rates in young adults?

You're funny. In the interview, Walz does downplay past false statements saying he stumbled over his words. Do you want people to not admit when they make a mistake?

Also, the US has been fighting proxy wars with Iran for a long time. This isn't new information. Iran isn't exactly our friend.

Interesting question. I don't think I've ever defended either. I've also only lived in capitalist countries, so I have no personal experience with other economic systems.

I wouldn't use a Fox News screenshot as any form of reference. Here's his statement:

“But again, the point is it — it’s Iran that is at the heart of this and their proxies that bring disruption throughout the region,” Walz added. “That’s why being in the Situation Room, as the vice president was working with the Israelis to repel the attack we saw this week, they tried it back in April, the same thing. And that’s the point of being and boxing Iran in,” he said, arguing Trump allowed Iran to get closer to having nuclear weapons by pulling the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear deal.

Speaking of Trump not caring how many people he hurts...

I used to hold the same belief and considered myself a proponent of limited governance. However, the individuals I know that advocated for smaller government did so because they preferred to be governed by the church instead.

I don't believe that labeling others as liberal or conservative helps anything.

Then you should definitely fight against a second Trump term. He previously encountered numerous guardrails and systematically worked to dismantle them. Military leaders have warned against a second presidency, emphasizing Trump's chaotic and irrational behavior. He has expressed his love for authoritarian leaders and has turned to promoting Christian nationalism.

Trump will harm as many people as possible while enriching those with the greatest wealth.

Say what you want but I learned my lesson from the first Trump presidency. Don't let that dangerous fool anywhere near the White House again.

Everybody keeps talking about Biden and forgetting how Trump did more than anyone else to help Bibi start a war:

By contrast, Republican Donald Trump and Netanyahu have had a much more cordial relationship. Trump hosted Netanyahu in July. While president, Trump initiated policy changes that Netanyahu applauded, including recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, moving the U.S. embassy there from Tel Aviv, recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and rescinding a decades-old U.S. legal determination that Jewish settlements in the West Bank were inconsistent with international law.

Is liberal supposed to have a negative connotation?

Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on the rights of the individual, liberty, consent of the governed, political equality, right to private property and equality before the law.
