Personally, egg. There are several ways on how you can enjoy the versatility of eggs; it can be steamed, fried, boiled, baked, or poached. The possibility is endless.

Conquered a half-marathon for the first time this morning. Not bad for a beginner who used to despise running to the very core. 🥳

“You deserve what you tolerate.”

Such a mean thing to say to someone who’s at a low point in their life. It’s not a ‘wake up call’ that some people think it is. If you say this to a stranger, I would automatically assume that you lack empathy. No one deserves to be abused or manipulated. Some people grew up without knowing their worth, or how they should be loved and treated properly with respect. Their resilency to abuse doesn’t mean that they deserve it.

I miss the slow-paced lifestyle. I loved the feeling of waking up and having nothing on my agenda. No plans, no responsibility, no expectations. I could exist without having to worry about keeping up with anxiety-inducing social demands.

Yasujiro Ozu occupies a special place in my heart. Watching his movies always feels like a cathartic experience for me. His films give me the impression of cinema in its most tender form -- it's poetic, deeply comforting, and heartbreaking.

Tokyo Story, Early Summer, and Late Spring are my favorite of his. It's really sad that a bunch of his films are lost.

Modern Family!

I'm already scared for my life once I finish it. The post-show depression will definitely hit a little harder this time.

Been having r/ph and RD withdrawals for the past week. Glad to finally have the time to explore Lemmy. This is refreshing. Hello fellow refugees!
