He's probably getting bought out
Way too many online NBA fans aren't basketball fans. They just watch the NBA because it's socially unacceptable for men to watch The Bachelor
Pretty sure the strategy at this point is to just tear down and really worry about the actual rebuilding process when they get his anchor of a contract off of their necks. Maybe they could get more for Porzingis or Kuzma through sign-and-trades, but right now, with fuck-all leverage and a terrible contract, the best that can be done is to just make space.
I guess Ishbia's strategy is just to collect as many scorers as possible and hope they chuck enough to outscore a team like Denver, because this is just confusing.
It's also confusing to me because what does Beal offer that Booker already isn't doing way better? When you need another big and bench depth, what's the point in getting a pretty one-dimensional shot-chucker with a contract that basically prevents you from addressing any of those issues
He has to be (and I still want him traded to the Spurs so I can see the stupidest front court ever assembled). However, now I'm kind of worried about even an old CP3 pulling the same thing he did in OKC and raising the ceiling of a team that has no right to be even close to the playoffs
Either one hell of an experiment in aerodynamic creativity or someone forgot to screw on a nut this morning
Max just being able to laugh off nearly beaching himself on the kerb because God knows no one's catching him
I'm with Bell and Hunch. What was the 11 team thinking with that strategy? They stretch that stint all to fall to the back of the pack from top 10.
But could they? If my numbers are right, they have ~$11 million to fill out the rest of their bench without hitting the second apron.
