She has a Wanda Sykes type voice. I don't love it, I don't hate it. I can see how some people wouldn't like it though.

That said, she is much b tter than she was four years ago. I think she will continue to improve.

Harris is also the one that has been more public about legalizing weed. She was the one that promised it in 2020 and reiterated the promise a few months ago. With six months left, I'm skeptical but it's still in the realm of possibility.

If the Republicans were smart, they'd do it first. Ballot initiatives for Marijuana legalization has driven blue turnout in several states lately. Florida has an initiative on the ballot this year along with abortion. I think FL will be a lot more competitive than people think with the ballot initiatives driving turnout for young people.

People are too comfortable to have a civil war. People will rebel when they're hungry, jobless, and have zero prospect for the future.

It's gonna have to get a lot worse before then if a war were to happen.

Impeachment don't come with jail sentences. He hasn't gone through sentencing for his convictions yet. There's still time.

If the goal is preventing Trump from winning and shoring up harris's weak points, Kelly is a pretty good choice. We can argue about drilling and green energy after Trump is in jail for all his crimes.

Anecdote time: last week a 30 year old woman I work with stated with confidence she wouldn't be voting this year. Earlier today she told me she would be voting for Harris and asked who the vp would be. I said Shapiro, beshear, or Kelly. She looked up each of them on Wikipedia and immediately said something to the effect of, "why have I never heard of Kelly? I'd vote for this guy at the top of the ticket. I hope she picks him."

The guy's bio speaks for itself. Plus we'd get fun twins hijinks at the naval observatory and I think we as a nation need that.

Elites and almost everyone else wanted him out. Polls had 80% of democrats wanting him out.

Biden had an "emperor has no clothes" moment on live TV for 90 minutes. Everyone saw it. Everyone saw a man that didn't have what it would take to beat Trump again.

Cut this "it's what the elites wanted" shit. It just doesn't comport with reality.

Nope. I married a bpd woman when I was young and she eventually turned on everyone in her life. Not saying people with bpd don't deserve treatment and sympathy but interacting with someone with untreated bpd is exhausting, traumatic, and not worth it.

Biden never even said he was incapable of running for or being president. He just said "it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down". That's it.

They're just straight up lying about Biden's statement but what's new in that regard...?

Good enough for me.

No. Based on the fundraising today, a preference cascade is occurring and she'll have the entire party behind her by mid week.

I stopped donating after the debate. I sent a donation today for 3x my usual. If they only respond to money, then withholding it is the only way to make them listen.
