Hi Since 0.1.8 rolled out I cannot subscribe on different instances on desktop browser. But, I can subscribe it on mobile browser. Is it a bug?

unlike reddit which is centralised on same source r/technology. the thing is each community have different subscribers. So, that is why cross-posting to different community is somewhat important to reach different persons.

Lemmy is FOSS and there are lots of servers. if you dissatisfied with one of them you just move to other servers or maybe fork the code. So, the chances are slim
