There are good properties to work at and bad ones, just like most jobs. I work as a full time night auditor with a solid crew and great management (now... previous manager was nice but incompetent), and I'm quite happy to say I make a fair chunk more than my state's minimum. That all said, it does vary heavily based on property location, size, amenities, management, how well coworkers gel together -- so apply to job postings carefully if you go into hospitality. It does give you fun stories though, that's why I love the job.

The Catholic Church, abiding by the egregious misdeeds of monsters in the name of keeping the Holy Coffers filled?

Well, color me shocked.

I'm a night auditor at a hotel.

Good luck getting service in a hotel past 11 now.

And you can launch more than one missile. You can also launch MIRVs. Or multiple MIRVs. The point being, with US backing, Taiwan has many fun toys to use against the Chinese to make their lives hell even without us showing up to the party -- which we would, with very minimal fucking about, because Taiwan's got dem microchips. And we want dem microchips.

Because that went so well for those states the first time, right?

Friendly reminder that PLEX is a great, free service, you just have to put in the effort to build up a media collection. High capacity HDDs are very cheap now, so storing a large media collection isn't particularly expensive.

They also offer a lifetime "Plex pass" which adds some neat, but non-essential features, like auto-skipping intros and credits sequences for instance. It's not necessary, but it's a nice way to show support for what they do.

man, I dunno if she's gonna get a conviction, but this is definitely going to be the Watergate of this century, the defining political shitshow for a generation. And it's gonna be fantastic to watch.

calling in artillery on your own position is certainly a tactic, though, if they had this kind of spell waiting in their back pocket, how the hell did they get captured?

I'm not sure, but I think something's happened.

As if I felt a disturbance in the force.
