  • European (and even better, Baltic) company
  • Compared to OpenWRT, RouterOS is very well integrated and documented and works (at least most of the time)
  • Very good price to performance& features ratio, esp. in the higher end enterprise switching/routing gear

Hi,

Trying to choose between Harley Benton Fusion III HSH EB (normal maple w/ "ebony" fingerboard) and Fusion III HSH Roasted (roasted maple neck and fingerboard). It seems like I actually get to try both of these out so I'll pick the one I like the most.

But if the roasted maple feels better otherwise - are there any downsides to it? How have people been faring with these Indonesian roasted maple necks in general?

I like MikroTik too. I kind of understand the dislike some people have for MT, but on the other hand a lot of it seems to be based on misunderstandings and outdated information.

Juniper isn't too bad either.

Not much experience with "corporate firewalls" (besides MT / Juniper SRX), but having seen Fortinet, it doesn't look too great.

Mostly for labeling what goes where - i.e. which freezer drawers have what food, whose clothes (and what kind of clothes) go where, and so on.

It's probably not as useful if you live alone or with just a single other person and can agree about where to put stuff and remember these rules - but in a 4 person household things tend to get a bit unmanageable :-)

A good thing about the iron-on labels (besides marking childrens' clothes) is that they stick on the cheap-ass Ikea storage boxes (Dröna?) that are just fabric on top of cardboard.

Brother P-Touch TZe label writer

While the brand isn't super important, the Brother supports e.g. iron-on label tape that I can get from the local shopping centre.

Ah, that sucks. Thanks for the heads up!
