Oh no, you gotta figure out what sort of situation works for you. It is beneficial to find someone that has some overlapping ideals as yourself, heck most of your friends and you probably already have some overlap you may not have thought about.

No need to single out meat production. There is so much farming going on that annihilates places like the Amazon. I have seen claims of those crazy huge shipping vessels that pollute more than all cars combined over the course of a year.

You should date someone with at least some reasonable overlap of ideals. If you wish to have a family unit, like conservatives certainly do, you need to have common ground and mutual respect or you will end up with yet another single mother raising a potentially negative statistic and father losing his child or bailing.

Yes, the instance you signed up in has mods. You can be banned without any recompense. The only message you see is a red banner that says "user was banned" or something to that effect. No explanation or clarification for the reason for a ban. It is ripe for abuse since Lemmy itself has a bunch of rules and instances add their own on top. Some of the rules are pretty pathetic.
