I was just curious since they said they used both providers and then privileged tuta. Would assume they don’t mean providers should feel privileged because someone uses their services for free.

Do you pay for two email providers?
It’s kinda nice to see how many new people proton has reached though, people that clearly only been using it for a few months. Their marketing clearly works and helps get people off google and Microsoft.
And I don’t think they hurt the non-profit foundation as much as they think by closing their free accounts that are subsidised by us paying users.
No damage control, just their yearly charity raffle that anyone who’s been with them more than a year knows about.
The most sane take on this I’ve heard so far.
