Slay the Spire. What a banger. And I didn't know I would even like card games before I checked it out.

It would have been nice to have 60, but I know I'll enjoy the game at 30. I'd rather have a fully featured game at 30 then a game with cut features or mechanics or objects/npcs at 60.

Principle* - I always have to sit and think about it for a second, myself

Thanks for coming! I just joined as well and am really enjoying myself. There's definitely enough for me here to entertain myself and it might only grow larger and broader. I think about it this way - I believe there's a higher chance that Lemmy will go through a "golden age" as opposed to Reddit which seems to be way past its own.

I will absolutely donate if this is what's needed. I'm one of those people that donate generously to Wikipedia when asked until I find a reason not to. I find it to be a useful resource and want to see it remain ad-free. I do the same for other websites and will do so with the Fediverse if needed.

I can't wait to play this game for the first time when this expansion goes live. I've been a patient gamer and haven't even bought the game yet. Glad to see it will probably pay off especially since people seem to be happy with the game as is. There's going to be SO much to play this fall.

I'm pretty early on in my programming/arduino career, but I'm developing a temperature sensor and alarm system for my pipes in my home. It will monitor the temperature of the pipes inside the house, outside (exposed to the elements), and just below ground level but above the frost line. I would prefer to use LED indicator lights and audio alarm instead of an LCD for a more "low-tech" look. Adding some annunciator check functions will help with testing the sensor periodically as well. It would help me monitor the temps of my water supply pipes during this winter and alert me if things get too chilly. Very excited to develop something that will make a real difference in my life. Maybe I'll add a SIM in the future as well.

I will admit that the area that I lived in had nearly zero crime. Rural. Regardless, the trailer walls have a steel skeleton that are slightly more difficult to cut through than just the wood and thin sheet metal exterior. I use a pretty tough set of wheel locks and a hitch lock. But yeah you're right someone could definitely take what they wanted if they are already used to cutting into other trucks. It is definitely safer than leaving the bike outside, right? Or do you think the fact that it is a trailer would make it even more of a target than a covered motorcycle?

Haha yeah I have a Sportster myself - don't think I'm some well-versed motorcycle enthusiast! I have spent a lot of time working on mine and making some upgrades so I am learning more about it every day! It's a great bike. My proudest upgrade was when I changed the rear pulley and sprocket out to make mine ride better on the highway and essentially give my bike a "6th gear." I keep hearing stories about people who buy bigger bikes and wish they had never sold their Sportsters. So I'll never sell mine! It's in fantastic condition so why not keep it and enjoy it? I plan on making so many fun changes to it in the future. Maybe a Hammer kit in the future? Maybe switch speedos? The sky is the limit with this bike.

Not sure but it looks like some kind of Sportster. Glad nothing bad happened to the point where you got injured, OP!

I was nervous about Starfield, but that deep dive completely assuaged my fears. I'm a believer now and I can't wait to get into it. Every few minutes I was impressed by a new mechanic or the depth of something like shipbuilding. Very impressed.
