I've actually had a great time making posts and contributing to conversations here. Everyone on these new subs wants to get the ball rolling, so any input usually brings something to the table. !Motorcycles went from 17 subs and 0 posts 5 days ago...to 230 subs now and a page full of posts and comments.

I think the frame would help a lot - I was talking about the normal covers that you throw onto a bike/mower. I was really inspired by these across the pond. That $4k price tag is ridiculous though and is more expensive than when I looked a few years ago before getting the trailer. I think they were priced around $2500 but maybe I'm misremembering.

Another benefit of the framed covers that you are looking at is that they seem to have much thicker material that could really withstand some wind when paired with the frame. The reviews look fantastic with this one. It looks super sturdy and the reviews seem to reflect that it's moisture proof. A little pricey...but it's your BIKE! Only the best.

That's awesome and not what I was expecting! I imagine most of them could pick it up? Any tips for swapping out 70-year-old men for getting women to talk to you? Delete even more chrome?

...and I'm happy with either of those comparisons.

I love it! That's an awesome banner for sure!

Looking back at this post from five days ago...when we had 17 subs and now are at 229 as of this comment. That's like, a 1200% increase? Plenty of new posts as well.

Maybe one of those clamshell covers would be a good option! I couldn't do a clamshell because the wind whipped off the lake pretty hard and already shredded other covers for mowers, cars, etc. So, I gave up on that idea quickly for where I live. But if wind isn't as much of a problem, then I think a clamshell might work great for you! Do you ride during the winter or do you plan on storing it in the clamshell during the winter?

You can't ask for better than that! Well done on the sale. There's something special about those first bikes. Keep those pictures and memories forever! That Fazer8 is a good-looking bike as well. Big fan of the color palette on that one. Have you been happy with the Fazer8?

Thanks! I would do it myself, but even basic graphic design isn't one of my skills! I really like how the community is shaping up here in such a short period of time. It's only fitting we get a proper logo!

Agreed - something cool but minimalistic? Are we going the reddit route and incorporating the Lemmy mascot into the logo? A shrew/lemming on a motorcycle?

This is amazing!! Fantastic work! I always love seeing someone develop something that does something BIG and useful! Don't get me wrong, plant watering projects are cool also, but interfacing with other technologies with Arduino is worthy of a chef's kiss.

Awesome work! I also think I would sit there all day and cycle it! And then show someone else and watch them cycle it!
