I finished packing the 20 foot moving van! We will be moving a day later than planned, but we will, indeed, be moving in c/the_refrigerator

300 miles! The only thing left to pack are the cats into our car. They’ve got the house all to themselves tonight. Thanks!

After several much smaller moves, before I was married, I seem to have finally learned the lesson that I don’t need to hold onto everything, and the boxes don’t need to be completely full. It is indeed a lot of stuff… but it could have been, so, so much worse.

I can’t believe I only just agreed to moving two weeks ago and tomorrow we are actually doing it - the end of packing is in sight! Just all these random scattered things and the cats left to pack

As more and more of his things disappear, Bumi Pie Blitz’s nighttime meows grows louder and more frequent. Tonight, the house is almost empty, and I am sleeping on the floor. Will Bumi let me sleep? (lemmy.world)
