That is completely unfair! Many if not most pet species are safe too.

I haven't previously heard that Montana as a state was trying to ban Tik Tok, I thought public schools were (which is pretty reasonable, stay off social media while at school). I'm glad the judge had this ruling!

Canned milk, jarred tomato sauce or pesto, pasta, frozen vegetables, frozen shrimp or chicken. Cheese lasts a while and you can put it in the freezer if you don't care about texture (such as for cheese sauce). Whole wheat pasta is a while grain and decently healthy and significantly more filling than white pasta. You can make white sauce or mac and cheese with the canned milk.

Most meat can be frozen when packaged without fair (look for tubes instead of flat packages). Flash frozen vegetables are pretty good. You can also portion and package meats for the freezer yourself, it just takes a while and you may want to get a vacuum sealer.

Dry whole grains and dry beans or legumes are the good basis for vegetarian diets, and together will make a whole protein. Just don't forget B12 or also eat meat. Both whole grains and legumes go bad after about a year on the shelf but will last much longer in the fridge or freezer (depending on how bulk you are buying). Oils will also go rancid eventually, especially olive oil or sesame, I keep those in the fridge too but they will last a few years like that.

I want to note that non-whole grains last longer, such as white rice or white flour, due to the oils and proteins (and most of the nutrients) removed.

Soups and stews can be made in advance, portioned for a few meals and frozen. You can use meat, beans, canned tomato for chili. Lentil soup doesn't always need much else aside from stock and seasoning.

If you make or buy fresh bread, you can let it completely cool, then slice it, then put it in as air tight a bag as you can and freeze it. This is great for toast but not as great for sandwiches. You can do the same with bagels, defrosting them in the microwave until still cold and then put them in the toaster. Frozen bagels make for decent sandwiches, maybe because they are already supposed to be chewy.

A soup portion with a side of grain or bread is pretty filling and delicious.

You can probably freeze Burger buns and treat them as I've described bagels, using them for burgers. Pickles are jarred and last a long time in the fridge.

"American cheese" lasts a very long time in the fridge. Unwashed eggs lasts about a month out of the fridge and a few months in the fridge. Use some frozen sausage for breakfast sandwiches.

Frozen vegetables usually have a slightly cooked texture, so cooking them is better. Roasted broccoli or cauliflower from frozen is pretty good. Served with a side of beans and rice with a baked chicken breast from frozen and that's a big delicious healthy meal. Don't forget to season and maybe use hot sauce.

In the US ambulance can cost another $10k. They are local companies that have good connections with the local police stations, and the only way to contact them is through the police, and you can only get whichever has the best relationship with the police. I say police because to get an ambulance is the same emergency number. There is usually no competition and they can charge whatever they feel like and insurance may not cover much if anything. For an ambulance, there is literally no way to know how much you need to pay, because insurance determines if you were really experiencing an emergency or if you could have driven, and being unconscious isn't enough to determine an emergency in many cases.

So much freedom. Freedom to die from preventable causes. Freedom to experience bankruptcy often. So much freedom.

Also works with orange. Invest in good honey for bonus cozy points.

Not just per household. I know one who shit talks previous women he kept sleeping with, knowing they wanted kids when he didn't, because the women kept the kids. I learned he was a Trump supporter because we talked about abortion when federal rights were removed. He had many opinions that don't make sense individually, but upon my promoting he admitted he wanted control and men should have the full right to decide what happens to a women's body, either the dad or the man who she is currently sleeping with, those two can determine what happens to her, but women should have no autonomy. He isn't the smartest and I'm sure was repeating what others have told him, but the entitlement is intense.

Not to mention insurance won't tell you what they cover until you have someone done. "Do you cover this" could mean they cover 10%, 70%, or 100%, and they don't even know what their system will approve. This is with good insurance. Unless you are apart of the top 5% then everyone can be wiped from you very quickly without notice. Eat the rich anyone?

Hydrogen peroxide gets blood out of almost anything. You can use a cotton ball for paper so it doesn't get all wet. If you get it on clothes just pour a little over the blood. It works if the blood has dried too. It doesn't work if you washed the fabric in hot water.

Subsidized child care for younger ages (under first grade at public school) would be a good alternative too. We don't need every job to be able to support a family of 4. When women joined the workforce during wartime and maintained that working position, the economy and jobs shifted to paying less because less was needed and we had a larger paid workforce. With that said, that means that a 2 income household should be able to afford kids, and it cannot without external help from other family.

Shortly after I had my first kiss in late high school my mother got drunk and informed me I would receive no help or support if I went and got myself pregnant. Here I am 15 years later, married and aiming for a kid, and I know her words will be true today too.

Some families are able to live closer to each other and help each other raise kids, but the modern economy doesn't allow for people to stay in the same area as easily. Almost every job requires you to move to a different state hundreds of miles each time, every few years. And most people need to change jobs due to stagnant wages, it's the only way to receive a raise.

Not to mention better healthcare! Healthcare costs are the primary reason US citizens go bankrupt. Kids get sick, adults get sick, and if one of the adults in the house gets sick and can't help bring in money for the kids then the entire household essentially goes from upper/middle to lower or bankrupt. If a kid gets very sick, oftentimes one of the parents has to stop working to argue every single claim that insurance would be paying but doesn't, and call every department of every doctors office or hospital to get an itemized bill and get it lowered to a reasonable cost rather than them asking for a blank check. I'm afraid of having a sick kid and losing my job to their healthcare organization (note: not their healthcare directly, but calling insurance asking them to pay for life saving care, then calling hospitals asking why a small bandage is $1200), losing my house to bankruptcy after healthcare costs, and losing any semblance of future career due to time off and losing myself.
