Duke Nukem would like to have a word with Halo.

I switched to Qobuz from Spotify. Never going back. Better sound quality, good UX, and they pay artists more than 10x what Spotify pays per stream.

Spotify has been promising better audio quality for years and I just don't think they will deliver.

You can go as cis-conservative as you want with your pronouns in the game. No-one is forcing those conservatives to give in to their innermost desires.

I switched to Qobuz. Mainly for sound quality, but they also pay artists more than ten times as much and they have pretty neat long read articles and deep dives, which is a way more satisfying way to discover new stuff. It's pretty great.

It does look kinda hot.

As another native speaker, I think that’s on you. Or maybe you’re reading the wrong stuff.

Dutch allows for a lot of creativity. Take compositions, for example. English really struggles with making new words out of existing ones, everything is truncated. Words are islands. Whereas German goes way too far with it, stringing six words into one. Dutch had a beautiful balance: lots of creativity, without becoming too complex.

I remember the days when there would have been at least three techno remixes of the airguitar quote by now.

The purchase price is negligible, but the total cost of ownership is staggering.

I don't know, if I'm honest, if there is one AAA developer out there that makes games that will keep me engaged for at least a couple of hundred hours, it's probably Bethesda. I think Starfield will be the same. Will there be bugs: yes. Will it be a variation on a well-known theme? Most definitely. Will it be less good than the hype: very likely. Will it be totally worth it nonetheless: probably yes.

It's so desperate.

If you're happy with them, then it's a good pair of headphones for you! I think the best indicator is that if you can listen to them for long sessions on end, then it's good stuff. If they pinch, itch, if the sound makes you restless or if you feel like taking them off after an album, then it's not a good match.

I tested them and they don't even sound that great. For the price, there are a lot of WAY better options out there.

But that is the case with many Apple products.
