What 4 branches are you referring to?
Also, republicans won the majority of voters by constantly referring to democrats as being pro-lgbtq. To turn around and criticize the democrats for that is pretty shitty

Before the 2024 election senate seats were 51 democrats 49 republicans. Now it is 47 democrats, 53 republicans. Only 2 more seats than democrats had before the election.
So yes that is true and you clearly don’t know what you are talking about.
For house of reps: in 2023 democrats had 213, republicans has 222. After the elections: democrats 215, republicans 220.
So democrats gained seats in the house and again you don’t know what you’re talking about but you don’t let that stop you.
Right now republicans have about the same majority that democrats had in the last two years. Just enough to be called a majority but not enough to easily pass anything. For you to show that you don’t understand that says a lot.
look at the driving force of anti-trans sentiment. It's economics.
Yeah, no. Economics isnt the driving force behind the anti-trans sentiment. That’s ridiculous
They have a slim majority. Giving them more seats in Congress gives them the ability to pass more legislation that would otherwise not have enough votes.
You should learn about how voting in Congress works.
There’s no easy answer to that but until the trans community and their allies have a voting majority, it is a requirement that democrats appeal to both.
That doesn’t work in this scenario because democrats need more than the trans community to win elections. So they have to also win over voters that are anti trans.
I haven’t moved the goalpost. The prior comments were talking about infighting and criticism of the party and your comment brought up the recent election specifically.
Democrats lost the recent election because of inflation experienced during Bidens term.
Infighting and criticism creates apathy that lowers voter turnout. It is a key component of FUD, an effective strategy that is used in online communities like this one.
Both are true.
FUD exists as a strategy because it works. All you have to do is criticize to sow apathy and reduce voter turnout.
I see we’ve learned nothing from the election. “I’m less shit than my opponent” is not a winning play.
What does this have to do with inflation aka the reason democrats lost?
Saying you need more votes than just the trans community and their allies to beat the GOP is not saying “I’m less shit than my opponent”.
Instead why don’t we ask why over a third of the electorate doesn’t bother voting? For either side.
I did, they said they don’t care about politics.
Why would you assume this? There are already voters of all types voting for both parties.
You claimed republicans now have an overwhelming majority and I pointed out they have about the same numbers as democrats did before the election. A slim majority. The numbers support that statement. Republicans have “rinos” also just like we have Sinema and Manchin. So that argument goes both ways.
Republicans lost seats in the house from the 2024 election. And they were already struggling to get anything passed before that happened.
Even if all this wasn’t true, your idea of blowing up the Democratic Party sounds like fantasy. What are you even suggesting?
