Rich people don't want to sell their stocks yet. So we all can't act like adults and admit everything is fucked or their fake assets will start to lose value before they've convinced you to become so invested in the charade that you're willing to buy them.

Georgian COBOL on a Babbage engine powered by a water wheel from a now defunct diversion of the Hudson being bandied around like it's the latest fucking macOS. The decals are clearly peeling, but the world's on fire and everyone has stock they don't want to sell yet, so we're riding this ship to bedrock and that's final, mister.

It only seems that way because we didn't know what a cunt Musk was back when. Tesla is Martin Eberhard's company.

The dead walk. Zombies have arrived. They are us.

Back when, most kids would just run off and do whatever in groups on their own. Now, parents both can't stand their children being at home AND can't stand them being unsupervised at any point in time. Hence, all supervised out of the house activities are inundated as every parent looks for someone to offload their kids on.

Do you sit near others, even within a few seats, or generally as separate as possible? Most people in my experience sit away from others. If I see someone sitting near/engaging with strangers I generally assume some mixture of mental illness or ill intentions/scammy behavior.

Cupboards get remodeled every time houses get flipped around here. more often than not it’s one speculator buying from another buying from another.
In all likelihood these last like 6 months. 6 years, tops.

Cherish the richness of the experience. Don't try to get over it. Hold every little detail tightly in your heart. The pain, the love, the loss, the ecstasy. All of it. Soon enough we'll all be nothing at all.
It only hurts because it was worth it. Don't let yourself forget a single thing.

(and the tighter you hold on, the faster the sharp edges will wear away because nothing at all is ever even slightly fair.)

The world is three miles of bad road
Walking down the street
Will I never meet her?
She's a real woman-child
Oh, my kiss breath turpentine

..... I am smitten....

Like, I agree with you, but at the same time it was always CN being laughed at. Still is. Poster boy for fragile bravado.

Hate that dude, but I still laughed. Couldn't imagine a better canvas for that ridiculous level of serious.
