Terraforming mars!

Presidents, the senate and the house have had plenty of opportunities to stop this horrific legislation from continuing but they all keep voting in favor for continuation, extensions, and expansions. Both parties have done so for the past 20 years. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_Act ). Privacy advocates have screamed forever into the ether about the dangers and abuses that come with it. Nonetheless, 3 letter agencies have continued to exploit this legislation fully and argue they can’t continue their jobs effectively without it. Now here we are at the dawn of a fascist president, who will 100% use it for his own personal agenda and citizen control. We walked right into this madness, holding hands, pretending we are “stopping terrorism” and “protecting the children”.

Meanwhile, I can’t even get to the interview stage…

Firefox I believe does. If you right click on a link, it says something like “copy link without tracking”. It should do away with queries in the URL, but I’m not completely sure.

This. If you look very closely at police cars that say “Protect and Serve”, you’ll notice the fine print after that says “the wealthy”.

It blows my mind that the EU even considers anything Orban says. He is on Russia’s side in a war where the EU is supporting Ukraine. And has led Hungary to a level of authoritarianism that no longer coincides with the EU rules of acceptance. It isn’t shocking that this nazi would bring back a “law” so he has more control over his citizens. What is sad is that so many other EU countries think it is a good thing. It is an obvious and egregious attack on privacy, something the EU has defended in the past. It is a shame that world-wide the pendulum is swinging the wrong way.

If real life was a movie, this is the part when the villain is winning and is getting everything they want. Like the end of Empire Strikes Back. All feels lost. Thankfully, in the movie the heroes are waiting in the wings rebuilding for the best chance to strike.

Unfortunately, in real life there are no heroes waiting.

Hang in there, it’s going to get much worse. One of the scariest things that few people know about that is caused by climate change is the acidification of the ocean. Currently, an estimated 3 billion people rely on seafood as their primary protein. Ocean acidification will cause a massive long-term food shortage around the world.

Not just athletes, but politicians, CEOs, rock stars, pretty much anyone that has money doesn’t have to abide by laws.

EDIT: See @AnimePhantasm comment below! My friend called the election board and they confirmed what @AnimePhantasm and @fmstrat commented! This was Virginia reusing last year’s envelopes.

OP I am an absentee voter in Blacksburg just next door. Shine a light on the blacked out part. I am 99% sure this is legit, they just crossed out the witness requirement. I can see the word witness under the sharpie in your picture. Virgina doesnt have to do that witness thing anymore. We did at the last general election, so I am guessing they just reused the same envelopes. You should call and ask your elections office before alerting the news. They are hardworking folks whose jobs are already 100 times harder then they used to be. Stirring up reports of election fraud where it isn't happening makes us just as bad as them.

I have a 40 lb Samoyed who is a specific type of aggressive chewer. It isn’t so much she destroys any toy I give her because of how hard she chews, but rather she is like a sniper. She finds the weak point in a toy and carefully chews it until the toy is destroyed. I had to stop giving her stuffed toys as she stripes the fur off of them and eats it. While nylon bones work, she will go through them in a few days. And I don’t want to give her toys so hard they will wreck her teeth.

The problem is when I go to pet stores, all the toys labeled for “aggressive chewers”, she finds the weak spot and destroys the toy within one day (sometimes within an hour).

I just recently got a tuffy ring and I was hopeful but she is chewing the ends and eating the fabric off of it.

Does anyone else have a dog like this and if so, what toys have worked for you?

These are just polls, so vote!

Hopefully these trends will inspire people in states that have been consistently red that a flip this election is possible!
