We watched 'Black Doves' on Netflix and it was excellent: drama, humour, a decent mystery and excellent acting. Hoping there'll be a second series.

Also, and as always, I've dipped back into my favourite episodes of DARK, also on Netflix. Still my favourite show of all time and the best thing I've seen on TV in the last 50 years.

There is that too, of course!

Won't somebody think of all the wealthy landowners, having to put up with being treated like ordinary people?

Shoplifting from small 'Mom and Pop' stores harms them and I damn well would report it to the owner. Shoplifting from a large chain store bothers me not a whit.

I often write case studies and tend to use the first names of characters from my favourite films and TV shows. My last piece of work included people called Jonas, Martha, Ulrich, Franziska and Charlotte.

Lots of side trips available to places such as Upper and Lower Dicker (East Sussex), Scratchy Bottom (Dorset) and Minge Lane (Worcestershire).

The artist was French and this was painted in 1921. Perhaps the wordplay is suggesting the woman is also a bird: beautiful and colourful, like the birds around her.

Anyone able to specify where in settings is the option to switch this off?
