I use my Steam Deck for home theater stuff, I don't game from my couch much though - super prefer mouse and keyboard. Steam Deck with a gyro-mouse remote and a full keyboard on the back is pretty awesome for browsing YouTube or watching movies
Came to say this. Been loving my Trilium instance.
Seems like a bit of a power dynamic problem... one could argue Job consented to all his bad treatment by trusting in the lord. Abraham was gonna kill his son. But I'd wager if I asked them, as a stranger, there's no way any of them would consent. It's the threat of etarnal fire that inspires such devotion and sacrifice. Bit of an unhealthy relationship if you ask me... my Christian parents are happy to ruin their lives for a better afterlife - including eroding their relationships with their kids. Bit sad. If I did believe in a god, I wouldn't believe that he sent us here to make us suffer and make sacrifices.

Try a used laptop. Cheap, power efficient, built in UPS, small. Can be quite powerful and some are even upgradable
Cycle to work every day, 3 miles one way, I know in my bones from repeated experiences that the bigger the vehicle, the less likely they see you

I've always thought I was mildly allergic to some brands of toothpaste, wonder if this was related.
My symptoms were sores in the corners of my mouth/gums - took a couple weeks before they'd show up and the only way to get them to go away was heavy rinsing with water after brushing (which is not recommended because of fluoride mineralization)
Switched to Tom's toothpaste (with fluoride) a few years ago and have had 0 issues since
Also trying to use less Youtube. I have quite a few hobbies and projects but Youtube sucks up at least a couple hours of my day. Didn't realize how addicted I was until I tried to use it less lol. Fortunately my recommended page has been way off lately
