You are a free man of a free country, and they are brainwashed slaves of the quasi-empire.

I guess these IFVs were unable to shoot due to very long outdoor storage and cannibalization of their parts, so using them as decoys was the only possible use for them. See also: https://twitter.com/secretsqrl123/status/1738332680217846039

Whatever we do, the root of the problem is "internal escalation" in Russia. Russian media spokesmen and officials compete with each other in their brutality and ruthlessness toward enemies. Less brutal people are considered disloyal "foreign agents". This has been going on for years and has led to the current situation. Whatever we do, this "internal escalation" in the Ruscist propaganda bubble will continue and lead to external escalation.

Before the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine, signed on September 1, 2017, Polish drivers were in a rather privileged position, while Ukrainian drivers were severely limited by quotas. Now Polish drivers want to return to the old system, even though this would contradict the agreement. The photo in the article contains a list of their demands. They want:

  • The return of the quota system for Ukrainian drivers;
  • Introduction of a live queue or a separate queue for empty vehicles in the Ukrainian "electronic queue" system;
  • Introduction of a ban on the registration of transport companies with Eastern (read Ukrainian) capital.

At the same time, they don't want to drive in Ukraine further than Lviv because they are afraid of war. So if the mutual quotas were equalized, it would severely limit traffic.

Basically, they want discriminatory measures against Ukrainian drivers so that Polish drivers can earn more.

What makes sense is a separate queue for empty vehicles - and as far as I know there's now a special crossing for empty vehicles to meet their needs.

Well, this is explained in the article.

Yes, people tend to think in black and white, going from one extreme to the other. But reality is much more nuanced.

It's important that democracies learn from crises. Even the current crisis in the US is leading to an important public discussion between the parties, which will lead to better mutual understanding.

At the same time, dictatorial regimes tend to exacerbate crises by creating another one to cover up the causes of the previous one.

Thank you, I'm looking forward to the continuation.

The problem the Ruscists have with tank drivers is that they vanish without a trace with every turret toss of their Soviet-type tank. And they have taken down most of the Soviet training facilities and capabilities. That's why Ruscist tank drivers often lack proper training.

Sorry, I can't predict in advance whether an article will be paywalled for someone if it's not paywalled for me. You can find the link to the summary below.

Thank you for your detailed thoughts. Although I have not read the upcoming continuation, let me respond.

IMHO, the situation is urgent, as the alliance of Orban with Putin threatens the very existence of the EU. The imminent external threat will force Europeans to act in concert and find balanced and effective solutions to this and similar impasses. The EU can't develop further with any member able to blackmail it.

So I believe in the wisdom of Europeans and their ability to learn and grow. Due to an exceptional external threat, the force major will be substantiated and will only enhance the cooperation between the member states.
