Wealth gap. What you are actually saying is everyone is being squeezed, allowing corporations to sell less and make more.

This is why I’m kinda pissed off about it all. Americans all went shopping and kept spending as per usual, which allows corporations to report “green” to investors and continues to allow unbelievable CEO / executives wildly insane pay to continue.

::Raising Eyebrows:: Tell me more about this Koch Network and what this “virtually unlimited funds” gets us in bill riders and lobbyists against 95% of American interests?

I hate politics so much. Once you follow the money and see why they spend billions to get someone elected, you’ll wind up hating it all too.

The entire world is figuring out you can’t please them all, legally.

If, legally, religious attire is allowed as an exception, then they must allow those satanists to wear theirs. Solution? Businesses and service providers can no longer restrict clothing, including if someone wants to work in a bathing suit. Or, face an expensive legal battle.

If long hair on males is forbidden in the schools, then you must be willing to force a Native American to cut his hair. If you are willing to do that, then expect more legal restriction and an expensive legal battle.

All this stuff is going through the courts in various countries in various extremes. Been interesting to watch over the last couple decades.

Not just a big spending day, an all-time record-breaking spending day, up 7.5%. That’s absolutely insane and doesn’t jive. If everyone is hurting, can’t pay their rent and bills, credit is maxed out, then how did they also crush this record on inflation-priced “sales?”

All I’ve said, I’m choosing to go by data, not news agenda. BF helped me realize our economy is thriving. That’s great!

Above normal. The data suggests US citizens still have credit limit or not feeling the pinch as all the news articles suggest.

I was expecting a big decrease this year according to what I’ve seen on lemmy. From now on, I’ll read negative news and say “meh, probably not.”

If your company is being acquired, you need to assume you, the employee, are disposable and not the reason for the acquisition.

I disagree. What I was going to say would mess up the reading adventure of this article. It was so good I read it aloud to my wife. lol

Wow! I highly recommend taking the time to read this one. It just keeps giving and giving the further you read. Unbelievable.

Oh man, I want to drop spoilers so bad, lol. Just read.

All of you saying you need center stands don’t realize how much heavier the stand needs to be for safety. For cheap TVs, you will get wide stands for freight reasons. They usually come with mounting mechanisms where you can get your own stand that will cost more than the TV itself.

Common sense people. If these shipped with center stands the cost would be double and you’d be complaining about how there’s no TV deals anymore.
