Have a very old nook (with light!) Got it mainly because it handles epub, but getting books from my server to it is a pain. Can kobo connect to my calibre server and grab books automatically? Or does it need plugging in to sync up?

Thanks, will give that a try

I have homepage too, and I like how clean it looks. But haven't managed to figure out how to password protect it, so I only use it on my home network or when I'm connecting via VPN. Is there a way of adding authentication to it that I missed?

Yeah, I started with Heimdall, tried a couple others and then found organizr and stuck with that for ages now.

I'm planning a new game, and thinking about setting up advanced auto miners in civilian fleets (the mimicry mod one) and want to have full coverage of the map.

Using fleets should allow me to use the player restock subordinates mod so if any ships die, they get replaced without too much micromanagement. Going to use alligators, one set of ore miners and another for gas, probably 5 ships per fleet.

It will be a late stage plan, so I should be on good terms with all races, but I'm not sure about where to set the homebase of each group. I want good (full) coverage of the whole map, as well as plenty of trades with all races.

Plan for homebase sectors is argon prime, Jupiter, family zhin,18 billion, cardinals redress, pious mists IV, two grand, tharkas ravine xxiv and gain prophecy. Each will have a 5 jump range. There will be overlap using these

Has anyone tried anything similar? Any advice on better homebase sectors to use instead?

So there's a fix for this in the form of a script from this repo: https://github.com/007revad/Synology_HDD_db

Worked for me, posting in case anyone else runs into it. Now to set it up to run as a task..

So I was happily using an SSD nvme as volume storage for all of my docker containers and almost forgot that it was officially unsupported after so long with that setup.

Today though, I updated DSM and it's not showing the SSD drive as unsupported, and prompted me to do an online repair, which failed. (Yes, I know, I should have read the change log in more detail).

No Biggie, everythings backed up. But is there a way to force it to work? Or should I try rolling back the update? It was nice having all of the docker stuff on the SSD. And I have zero use for caching, so will end up with a useless nvme on my hands if it's not going to work, which is kind of annoying.

This hits the nail on the head at my work. Immediate manager couldn't care less where we are, and has said frequently that the team is more productive from home.

It's the higher ups that are pushing for return to office, constantly sending out surveys, arranging free-form "open door" meetings and things like that because they're lost without seeing people face to face.

I can concentrate far more effectively at home, where I'm in full control of my environment, and I spend up to half of my day in video calls with people in different locations anyway.

Ah great, thanks. Growing these for the first time and they're just starting to develop - I'll cut down the watering!
