Something like a Telestar Digibit should do what you're after. It's a Sat>IP box that takes dvb-s and dvb-s2 transponders and pushes the transport streams over IP. From memory it's UDP.

They take a bit of configuring, and there are some alternative firmware variants out there too that add more functionality.

I used one of these briefly a few years back and can't remember all the details I'm afraid.

They've made the data available here: https://catalogue.ceh.ac.uk/documents/d90a3733-2949-4dfa-8ac2-a88aef8699be

(It would have been nice had the news article added a link to the UK Environmental Information Data Centre, rather than hiding the originator half way down the article in plain text)

Vespucci is a step up in complexity to StreetComplete, but lets you perform node additions. That's wat I use when out and about alongside StreetComplete.

As others have noted, the final episode and random sexualisation were disappointing, but I really enjoyed the writing round how Star Fleet would (will) come to be. It filled in a good number of gaps in the lore.

The theme music? I laughed at it at first, then when they reversioned it in later seasons, I remember at the time thinking "how could they make it worse?". But now on rewatching, I've fallen in love with it and think it's the perfect tune for the show.

Plus the occasional nod to Quantum Leap were appreciated.

Google sheet's =importhtml function might do a better job than copy paste. (maybe) https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3093339?hl=en-GB

  • Cast iron = brilliant and last forever
  • Stainless steel = brilliant and last for ages
  • Carbon steel = brilliant and last for ages (but expensive)

Cooking on plastic doesn't feel right. Even if it's perfectly safe, I'm happy to stick with any of the above and not cause excess waste by having to throw out pans when they scratch.

Possibly more vegetable oil. I remember reading the ingredients, thinking eww, then taking another big sip. Barista edition is lovely.

I found "A Canticle for Leibowitz" an astounding read. More apocalyptic than dystopian, but solid.

Cracking TV is glorious if you like 1980s/1990s TV.

~~Car~~ Driver

It would be lovely if Ben and Adam found themselves in the UK some time for a show. Are there any other ~~redditers~~ lemmings over on this damp (but currently far too hot) island?

Feddit.uk seems keen to spin up uk-centric groups

This may hopefully become a useful place to ask and answer questions about MS Word.
