I mean, I don't think the term SNAP is confusing. But if you've never used it, or don't know anyone that used it, it's worth defining for those people.

In the same way that there might be people who don't know that the ACA = Obamacare, there might be people who don't know that SNAP = food stamps. More and/or complete information isn't a bad thing.

I've read a ton of these books and watched the first season of Reacher, and I'm a woman. You don't have to be a "Dad" to like wish fulfillment storylines.

Always upvote Rammstein.

I like LD because of its sense of humor and Trek deep cuts.

The LD characters are much more like "real" people than the other Trek series to me. By that I mean: TNG was full of people that I would admire and look up to if I were on that ship. LD has people I could see myself becoming friends with. But maybe that opinion reflects the age I was/am when watching each of them.

If you aren't a fan of the humor, and don't get the deep cuts, then I could see why you aren't finding much to like about it.

Like George Clooney and Courteney Cox! Who both made appearances.

Murder, She Wrote had tons of DS9 and VOY cast throughout its 12 season run: Seven of Nine, Janeway, Chakotay, Tom Paris, Garak, Kira, Odo, Damar, and of course Q as you mentioned, all showed up at one point or another. And that's just off the top of my head. Some of them were on more than once, playing entirely different characters.

In a recurring role as Dennis Stanton's secretary: Data's daughter, Lal.

I've been watching a lot of the Murder, She Wrote Roku channel lately. Like, a lot.

Edit: Keiko! I had to come back and add Keiko.

Oh, I'm not sure. I've never noticed that the bowl made a difference in my tension, but I can't afford the fancy yarn very often, so I rarely use one.

You're right, I meant hank in my first paragraph. Fixed!

Not OP, but the answer is, it depends. If you're using a proper (read: slightly more expensive and probably non-acrylic) yarn ~~skein~~ hank, then yes, it needs to be wound into a ball first, then put into the bowl. The bowl keeps your ball from rolling around everywhere.

If you're using a cheaper type of center pull skein (no judgment!) then no, not really. But if you're using a center pull skein, then you don't really need the bowl. Your yarn won't roll.

Lovely cables! I keep telling myself I'm going to make this, and then don't. One day!

Zebras seem cool. I don't think Texas has any zebras. They can hang out with the horses...? (Idk if they actually get along.)

And giraffes! I want a giraffe to come hang out in my yard and eat some tall leaves.
