Small companies will not move unless a third store really takes off. It is the big apps that everyone wants that will have the market power to move. Like Facebook, Instagram, Google Chrome, Microsoft, possibly Adobe, and all the streaming apps like Netflix.

This is exactly what will happen. Every app with a large user base will move. Want to easily cancel a subscription? Good luck. Want to stop tracking? Have fun with that.

I do not want third party app stores.

I am not saying you are wrong, but when I was active on Reddit I rarely checked my mail. I still have like 12k unread messages.

In many ways it failed in Ukraine as well. Our tactics are/were created for our military, with our firepower and assume air superiority. That does not exist in Ukraine. Our methods were getting their fighters killed, so they adapted and devised their own.

But it is in our best interest to help Mexico.

People are moving south in general for warmer winters. And “the south” is cheap comparatively. But it is cheap because large swaths are economically depressed.

I could really use a 20g 3080 in my gaming pc. How do I buy one?

The cost of raising a child has gone up thousands. No government has come close to subsidizing the increase.

Agree, but there are several industries that still rely on it. The biggest is probably sports news.

There is a book about extreme economies. The author discusses it here: https://www.econtalk.org/richard-davies-on-extreme-economies/

They go through how the mackerel as money came about. Also, that expired mackerel, i.e. fiat, have their own lower exchange rate.

The Sweden child murder rate is going to need a source.

It is a job that requires no college (they train), comes with government benefits, and pays a decent salary. There is (or the last time I checked) a literal lottery to get an interview. If they are having staff shortages, it is not from a lack of people that want that job.

On a related note, I once plugged in a headset to listen and watch a controller work. This was at a “center”, not an airport. They work for like 30-40 minutes and have a mandatory break. Their screen shows projected location. The real skill appears to be multitasking. I would start daydreaming and let two planes run into each other, but otherwise it did not look that hard.
