It was eye opening the first time we flew to Europe. The first convenience store sold few sodas, mostly different types of water. And the soda they did sell was more expensive.
We tried an orange soda. It was less sweet and tasted far better.
Car dealers are an outdated business model and should go away. But they have gotten their business model inshrined in law by many states, especially “free” or “capitalist” red states that are anything but.

I have also found that bright lights help. The light bulbs in our house are bright. At work I have a lamp on my desk with three led bulbs (3 bulb adapter and slightly bigger shade). I got the idea from a podcaster that has 2 lamps on his desk for winter.
This will only push Apples stock down. Every big company with market power will move their app off the App Store to stop paying apple a cut and not have to follow their rules (like easy subscription cancelations).
