So, what, the genocide has reached the point where further attention from him is no longer necessary?

Man, the timing on this announcement is breathtaking.

And that sucks for everyone who explicitly voted against this nonsense, but the simple fact of the matter is that many, many people didn't care enough vote at all. Finding some schadenfreude in the latter's upcoming woes, quite honestly, is a coping mechanism that ultimately causes no additional harm.

Am I the only one to get Gurren Lagann vibes from that design? I think it's the head fins.

More specifically, Typhon getting buried under Mt. Etna was the reason it's a volcano.

Nah, Xi stomping on the rich is like the one thing I can't complain about. More governments should follow suit on that.

"No, John. You are the demons."

And then John was a zombie.

The fact that they re-engineered the core block to finally let it actually do crunches is wild. If not for the fact that I'd be dealing with tiny RG parts and decals again I'd consider get the 2.0 for that alone.

I agree that the man is clearly off his rocker, but from a legal perspective, what matters is whether or not you understand that you have, in fact, killed a dude, and that this is in fact a bad thing. Having voices in your head telling you to do it is a completely separate issue. Again, this is my understanding as a layman, so any actual lawyers please feel free to tell me I'm full of shit.

My understanding is that insanity defense has a very high bar, beyond what the public would commonly consider "crazy", so it's not actually something that happens often. And even then, actually getting out of whatever institution you're remanded to isn't guaranteed.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this person has never once done anything that would actually help service members or veterans.

The pigeon lady saved the day, though. So on that basis alone, it couldn't have been Piers Morgan.

Sure, maybe I could've put this in a dynamic action pose. But samurai Gundam goes into seiza position.

So, obviously, if you go to a brick-n-mortar store and buy something there, it counts as a sale for the store, with stores that don't get enough sales often closing. But if I order something online from, say, Best Buy and pick it up in store, how is that tracked? Does it count as a sale for the store, even though I didn't actually buy it there? If not, do companies use a separate metric (ie this store doesn't get as many sales, but people still come in to pick up stuff, so we'll keep it open)?
