I don't agree, those guys know what they're doing and are leaning into the cringe expertly. In no way is this a bad movie.
Nokia phones haven't been around for such a long time that for a second there I was very confused as to why the floor should be scared of the city of Nokia.
I thought this episode was amazing! Initially I was sceptical about SNW since it is another prequel. I don't much appreciate dragging Spock into yet another iteration and Discovery really wasn't my thing. But this series is hitting all the right notes for me (hah), I almost forgive them for re-using characters. Such a good time!

E-reader. I agree that nothing beats the smell and feel of an actual book but e-readers are incredibly convenient and comfortable to read from. Definitely one of the best things I own.
You might be interested to know that in the European country where I live this is completely impossible. No bank here will give a loan to a single person with that income and only 10k euro saved.
