To add on, I'm seeing a ton of comments saying "I only watch LTT for entertainment". Because of this sentiment, it isn't looking good for Labs. Isn't Labs goal suppose to be a superior version of GNs testing process? If so, I'm seeing a ton of comments saying "GN videos are boring". I can only assume this is coming from the same demographic.

I'm not sure what LMG is planning long term but they are shooting themselves in the foot by setting up their core audience to watch their videos for entertainment rather than data/reviews.

+1 on the Kona Electric.

I have the MY2023 and it works perfectly as a dumb car but there are some creature comforts hidden behind a subscription. The BlueLink App which is around $7/month allows you to remotely see and control things from your phone such as:

  • Locking/unlocking the car from your phone no matter the distance
  • Getting notifications if you forgot to lock your car
  • Remote start the climate control
  • Diagnostics with codes so you don't need an OBDII reader

Again, it's a perfectly good dumb EV without those but they are trying the subscription model for luxury features. Hyundai, at least, gave me a 3 year free trail.

I could've sworn the CEO said something along the lines of "didn't want to be bothered during the ride" so he removed all audio communications from the surface. This is the main reason why the Polar Prince didn't report it missing right away. Something seems fishy about this leak.

With all the social media corps going full ham on advertising, I'm going to make the switch from Chrome to Firefox with ad-blocking add-ons. However, I'm at a crossroads since there are many variations ranging from the official Firefox app to Firefox Nightly and even Fennec or Fenix.

Any recommendations?

I saw that you were developing an app for Tildes. I believe it was called 3Cheers or something along those lines. I just wanted to say good luck and I hope your future endeavors are way more successful than redditisfun.

I'm on both here and Tildes so I'll be looking forward to where this leads.

I'm surprised incidents like this don't happen more often considering that Little Tokyo is right next to Skid Row.

Use deestan's fork of PowerDeleteSuite. It adds a 5 second delay between each edit/delete so it gets around the API limit.

The reason you might be seeing your posts might be because of 2 things:

  • The API of the rate limit
  • Private subs coming back online

I wouldn't call LA a paradise but more often than not, I hear from those who migrate here say they were tired of snow, hurricanes, annual tornados that they had to prepare for. Sure, we have wildfires but that doesn't close down the entire city like heavy snow does.

The daily discussion states the protests is more or less a failure.
