What tips or resources would you recommend to someone who knows about Linux and wants to self-host, but has no experience self-hosting? in c/selfhosted

This is a recent version of a guide I used to get started with home servers. I learned a lot following it and I can now manage my own home server with a lot of apps.

I sent a feature request to https://github.com/rystaf/mlmym and it was added in one of the recent versions. Have been waiting a while to see if it would be updated automatically or by an admin, but it hasn't happened yet. So here is my request for it to be updated.
