ME:2 In my opinion is one of the greatest games ever published.

And that doesn't even include the furthest communities or settlements. just fastest route to the Manitoba border.

There are a lot of communities in Northern Ontario that there are no direct roads to.

Trying to plot a bunch of routes out right now to get an idea and half the routes direct me to drive through the US to save time.

Windsor to Kenora is the longest I've plotted so far at 23 hours

Took the train from Toronto to NYC in 01. No thanks. Never again. Will drive if I can.

You know what they say, you drive 2 hour from Toronto and you're still in Toronto.

why can't I go back

You can in a way. But not by trying to live / experience what you already have.

That joy you felt was the feeling of experiencing something new for the first time. Want that feeling? Go out there and experience something new the first time. Make a habit of it.

That gallery both doesn't know the Streissand affect, AND true art. All they're now doing is helping spread it.

really REALLY boneheaded.

You know it's some asshole artist on the wall who complained that his art "devalued" his in some way and demanded retribution.

First colony in space.

we've all got a finite time and my dream is that mankind figures out how to spread throughout the stars.

a first colony is that step

Justice Kent Teskey warned the province that courts take a dim view of delay being used to neuter public attempts to understand how important decisions are made.

I wish the Ontario judges were at least this intelligent.

We're STILL waiting for Doug Ford's mandate letters: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/crown-lawyer-hours-ford-mandate-letters-1.6891876

Not if bought on the open market already.

The company only receives money on IPO. after that, shares the trade private hands only profit the owner of the share.

still, wouldn't want to give any of these people money for their shares. let them ride them to 0 and trump media shuts down.

In my father's case. it has nothing to do with money.

He's bored. His entire boomer life has been dedicated to work. So when it came time to retire, he tried that. Was bored, and decided he enjoyed having things to do. So now he's working part time doing book keeping for random businesses.

The boomer generation made work/life balance so skewed towards work for themselves that so many of them, despite enriching themselves from a wealth stand point, do not know what else to do with themselves. '
