You should put files on the cloud that meet the two following criteria:
- Valuable to you
- Not valuable to other people
This could include your hobbyist cad drawings, your twilight fan fic, or anything else that you need or don't want to lose but has very little value to bad actors.
Is cloud storage a new concept to you? Have you not heard of iCloud or Google drive? Cloud backups make a lot of sense for a lot of people. Just don't put sensitive information on there.

It does kind of work though. It's prefacing the meme by telling the reader to imagine that the text represents their point of view.
The thing is, if he had access to his hard drive at any point in the last 10 years or so he would have sold his Bitcoin long before it was this valuable, like many, many other people who used to own Bitcoin and aren't currently millionaires. The fact that he lost his hard drive is the only reason it's actually worth anything.

Why? They're providing a service with that contract. NASA isn't capable or doesn't want to do everything in house. If they deem it beneficial to outsource some projects to contractors then what's wrong with that?
