Not quite there yet, but 8 years and left with Sync.

I'm shuffling around a couple of games, when I get tired of one I go to the next, and so on until I hopefully beat them all. The current one is Monster Hunter: World, followed by Desperados 3 and TLoZ: BotW.
Yeah, I've never even thought about modern life without the use of internet for everything else other than professional work, just like I've never thought possible for me to stop using Reddit. But now thanks to spez I stopped using Reddit, and I can now really imagine a world where I don't surf the internet for fun. Part of me wants the internet to become an unusable hellhole.
I meant the resistance number on my armor, it's now 10, and it looks yellowish. But you answered:
As I mentioned before, there are no specific tiers or milestones on resistances 5/10/15. It works like a gradient, so the higher the number, the better defended you’ll be. 20 is the only amount that comes with a unique effect.
Thanks!
Is there anything special about other numbers, like 10? Asking because I just got 10 fire resistance and it seems like the numbers changed colour to a yellowish colour, am I imagining things?
LOL! "Untrained amateur", like you need to complete a professional course to click a few buttons and scan a few articles. Unbelievable.
That mf-ing Gobul, he made me quit the game too for a couple of years!
My first MH was Tri for the Wii. When I started playing I didn't really like it, and that's because I didn't really understand the game at that time. I got stuck at Gobul (underwater fight) and so I stopped. After some years of not playing, I got back to it armed with patience, and I finally understood the game, and beat almost everything solo offline had to offer. Recently I got a decent pc and finally got a long wish of mine - Monster Hunter World. I'm enjoying it, currently at 47h in.
Sync for lemmy should come out in the next few months, that will also have an effect.
I didn't see it mentioned so I'll say it: Smart. Where I live, they behave like they are riding a bicycle.
Great answer, thank you!
I've been preparing for the fight by farming Uragaan, so now I'm warning his full set, and it's really good, the damage I'm receiving is not terrible.
Not using the palico because I feel the monsters focus to much on him, which makes it too easy, and the quite frequent heals too. I'm used to the (almost) useless Cha-cha from MH3.
