I think the downfall of legitimate news was inevitable. When CNN went 24 hours there was a lot of “how can they possibly find enough news to fill all that time?” And it was a legitimate question. The answer is that they can’t. So they manufacture things instead- opinion pieces that sound mysteriously like fact news, panels sitting around supposing what something could mean, interpreting events instead of factual explanations. It became a 24 gossipy talk show. And then even regular regional news followed suit. I don’t even bother to watch the news anymore, because it’s not news. It’s a bunch of jabbering assholes just making noises with their faces.

I’ve only been to Utah once, and it was like some creepy children-of-the-corn situation where everyone looked exactly the same. I left with the impression that everyone there is related. It was … disconcerting.

This is what I was thinking. It’s Saskatchewan. But then I started reading the comments about Alberta and they’re also true. But still. It’s Saskatchewan.

I guess now Canada should suspend passports for Indian nationals coming to Canada and see how that works out for Modi. India will have the short end of the stick of that happens. Trudeau has every right to ask questions about foreign assassins coming into Canada to kill someone.

This lady worked for five months, then took maternity leave back to back for over two years and refused to come back to work due to personal issues that had nothing to do with her maternity leave and claimed unfair dismissal. Just wow.

Don’t give me hope that cnn is going to get some of their integrity back.

I am Canadian. This is news to me that they give you sedation or numbing. Definitely not my experience.

This makes sense and it’s kind of what I thought has happened. No one could really be that unaware as to write a character reference for someone convicted and not expect backlash. But why wouldn’t they just say that then ? Why not make a statement saying the reference was old, and they’re shocked and disappointed someone they trusted could do such a thing.

That’s what I don’t understand

I’ve given this some thought, because I do seem to get satisfaction out of completing tasks, but no motivation to start them in order to get the finishing satisfaction. Or giving up half way through a task when I’ve lost interest. On the other hand, avoidance leads to adrenaline, and that gets me moving. I think that’s where the neuro compensation lies. Not the lack of satisfaction that the task is complete (although mostly I just feel relief not satisfaction), it’s the adrenaline replacing the dopamine.

This is brilliant. I’m surrounded by super mega sons of bitches myself and I really relate to this tune. And all the lying down.
