Not me fam, the less I have to do, the better. Amazon shipments literally save me 2-3 hours a week from not having to go to the store.

Prime membership ftw!!!!

But the thing is it actually did work, Netflix has seen a boost in revenue and the companies stock price.

A small house for 74,000? Lol, you'd need at least double that in the Northeast part of America.

in before, "but I need my enormous vehicle because once every 13 years I haul 3 2x4's and am too dumb to use a roof rack or rent a truck for the day!"

I win!!!

My enormous eletric vehicle (plug-in Rav4) is powered from my home solar panel system, and I use it to transport my dogs to the park a couple of times a week.

I'm completely guilt free!!!!😃

Firearms.

It was fairly inexpensive before the pandemic. But since it's been a nightmare of price gouging.

It's also one of those hobbies where buying one thing leads down a rabbit hole of spending.

I get the point of this meme, but it's not correct. Most animals wake at the break of dawn for predator/prey reasons.

For instance, herbivores that live around loins wake-up very early as most loins hunt in the late afternoon....

There is a reason why some animals are active during the day and some at night. Availability and competition for food, safety from predators and temperature are some of the factors that influence the day and night sleep patterns of animals.

Evolution over course of time has helped animals find suitable time during the day to stay active and search for food while avoiding predators.

Lions are mostly inactive during the daylight, making daylight hours suitable for herbivores to stay active and graze.

I don't feel like contributing for free to some portal run by a private company.

100%!!! The only thing I did differently was deleting all my usernames. I'm not contributing to all Reddit's ad tracking, AI training, privacy invading nonsense.

I still go back to my favorite subs (r/gme_meltdown and r/buttcoin) to read only, but that's it. Also there's still tons of active BB boards (not on social media) for all my niche hobbies, soI really don't have a reason to.

I'm not participating in that dumpster fire ever again. At best I'll rip content from Reddit to post here on Lemmy.

Im fascinated by the fact that people are starting to be monogamous with thier porn stars they watch.

I might be the odd one out, but if I'm paying for porn I'm definitely getting the one that's like Netflix with a whole bunch of different shit on it.

That didn't stop people before cars. Back then people built small railways if we are talking about construction.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if it weren't for vehicles like mine keeping up the internet infrastructure up.

There's also no fucking way you going to put train tracks everywhere to keep up infrastructure. That sounds really fucking stupid

They need specialized equipment. They need heavy equipment.

This statement makes me feel like I'm responding to a 14 yr old with no life experience. Not even going to bother answering it.

A car is a car. Another motor doesn't turn car into magic.

Electric vehicles have no emissions so there's no reason people can't use them specifically for work.

PS: You can respond but I'm not going to bother with you. There's no point in having a discussion with someone with illrational and militant about their ideals
