I tried Whale once. Honestly? It wasn't that great. It's a bit like a very dry, very though Tuna

Tbh, the game's great. I've literally see someone compare playing a city managment game at 30fps to a slideshow.

Does it run well? No. Is it a disaster? Also no. Is every single other aspect of the simulation better than cs1? Absolutely yes. Most of the reviews are by far exaggerated

Badly. Really badly..

If you find one, please let me know! I'd be really grateful

I tried a few, but the problem isn't the rss feed, but rather the news websites themselves. Most stuff is either corpo garbage, clickbait, or just plain irrelevant to me. Sites like reddit at least gave that little bit of filter so that the most egregious crap would not reach my feed. It wasn't perfect, but it worked.

I dropped reddit for sure, but can't say I'm exactly an avid Lemmy user. There just isn't enough things I'm interested in. I pop in every once in a while but I'll probably drop this too soon. I have absolutely no idea how I will even get any news, since I don't watch tv, and that kinda scares me. On the other hand, I started reading books again, which I hadn't touched ever since I became a redditor

While my first approaches were watching my father play doom and reading him Tomb Raider's strategy guide, as well as playing on my mother's Sega Mega Drive 2, my OWN first games were pokemon yellow and Homeworld, which came pretty much at the same time, and which shaped me all through. To this day I am still a PC and Nintendo gamer

The obsession with Linux and privacy. Every post it seems like anyone using windows is committing a cardinal sin. I have had to use linux in the past, and let me tell you, I don't intend to go back to it unless forced to. I still have mental scars of trying to update my gpu drivers

It is... And honestly, I can't tell which one is worse. I will say, the first time it happened, I was terrified, thought something was wrong with me

How to handle multiple repeated panic attacks every day

It's tough, I'll be honest. I can't completely wrap my head around lemmy, I'm confused about seeing communities I never subrscibed to (and some I wish I didn't have to see), and can't fully understand how it works. It also just.. doesn't have the same things I used to follow, or at least I can't get them to show up. I'm struggling, and honestly don't know what to do with all that empty time. I guess it really was an addiction.

I can't wrap my head around VE interface. The UI changes are.. not really intuitive for me. Maybe it's a matter of getting used to it, but I haven't tried it since the first attempt
