This is what it feels like to grow old.

That makes sense.

Would that also mean if a tree falls in the forest it always makes a sound because there's always "someone" around to hear it? It sounds like we could say that the air or ground is "observing" the sound waves or impact made by the collision?

"Observe means observed by a conscious being"

Can something without consciousness make an observation?

Not a historian, but I believe Sojourner Truth is probably one of the names most closely associated with the phrase.

Phrases like "I found Jesus" or "y'all need Jesus" have a lot of longevity because they describe a sentiment of experiencing salvation and reconciliation in terms that are understood by a large part of the population.

Instead of "Jesus" you could say "I found my purpose in life" or "I found love" and I think you'd be expressing nearly the same sentiment.

From the perspective of Rocco's species as a whole they have definitely been mistreated, but I wonder if Rocco has found happiness as an individual. Their human seems to care about them at least, which I think is generally considered beneficial.

Something I like to do is look at my room as if I were an archaeologist or detective trying to build a profile on myself. It's a different way of framing how you see yourself.

If you and your friends have YouTube/Google accounts you'll get recommendations based on what your friends watch and search for.

Probably because your brain subconsciously does color correction (similar to optical illusions) that you don’t notice until you have a direct comparison.

I assumed "weird" was used intentionally as an understatement for comedic effect.
