That Supreme Court decision will be the embarrassment of our generation. Even though the constitution says nothing about a conviction, they’ll say that without a conviction he won’t reach the threshold of “insurrection.” Or maybe they’ll conveniently redefine the word insurrection. Or maybe they’ll say he didn’t technically “engage.” The possibilities are endless if you decide the verdict first and work your way back creating a legal justification.

I have a ridgeline. I’m no way do I think I’m hot shit? I’m fact, I get shit for it not being a “real” truck. Odysseys have been on back order for years. You literally can’t buy one (this may have changed recently but that was a big part of why I ended up getting the ridgeline last year). I don’t understand your statement about how it’s not useful as a truck. I regularly have to move 4x8 sheet goods and it works just fine. When I was looking at cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs you’d be surprised at how many can’t do that. It’ll tow our family tent trailer, but not much else. It moves our family of 4 and dog. I don’t need all the seats a van provided. It has a little v6, not a hybrid like the mini van. Of course it won’t get the same fuel economy. Getting more than 20 mpg is pretty good for all the utility it provides. Also the top of the line “black” edition is 50k. I think starting msrp is 38k.

The ridgeline is a step in the right direction. It is the least amount a truck that a truck can be. Every ridgeline sold is an f150 that isn’t. You picked a weird thing to be mad at.

That was definitely my impression too. More like cycling executives through positions to build their resumes.

It won’t break the laws of physics. Scientists are going to increase the speed of light in 2208.

Imagine sitting through class presentations and some incel tries to bully a girl, badgering her with questions and a “this is common knowledge” attitude all because he is so fucked in the head he thought she was mocking him.

This is a horrible example. My wife is a senior ICU nurse and deals with this. Getting through nursing school and being a nurse are completely different skill sets. Some of the new grad nurses are genuinely dangerous with their patients and are unteachable. Some never develop the independence that nursing requires. Some straight up play doctor and are a lawsuit waiting to happen. This has the same energy as a cop union getting a violent pos reinstated.

No because 12%(?) interest on overdrawing your account by $1 is a lot less than a $35 flat fee. If you overdraw your account you’re basically asking for a loan for the negative balance. It makes more sense to charge like you would for a loan.

I had a bank with “overdraft protection” before. It was basically a $500 line of credit that was activated if you overdrew. The interest rate was terrible, though.
