They've not necessarily lost faculties of their mind, nor do I disparage those suffering from homelessness. They're humans, people just like you and me, but they often suffer from addiction and mental illnesses that would make financing them directly a negative impact in their lives. So how about you think about the compliexites of problems and how to actually solve them instead of getting rage baited like an upset Karen? It's a normal human trait, which is why it's so easily taken advantage of. If you wish to do something for your local population of people suffering homelessness there are plenty of charities to donate time or money to that will ensure it is spent more wisely than most any singular person suffering from homelessness would likely spend it themselves.

Someone needs to learn how to use soap.

Ah, wasn't sure if they shipped with their own version of webkit for compatibility or invoked the system call. Unfortunate that it's the latter.

Not on my watch. 3. 3 updoots

You may try a downloaded browser, they likely ship with a newer version of webkit than what's on the system or in the store but I'm not 💯 and Google didn't reveal any clarity on the matter.

Keyword "Random". The code for the packages that shipped for your os and for your user installed utilities are generally 'trusted' code since you sought out the install. It's not bulletproof, but it's a good start vs running any package that happens to land in your downloads folder.

Is anyone really using that sensor? From what I've heard it's wildly inaccurate and a general pain in the ass to use.

That's pay in vs risk. Insurance companies for electronics would have long gone out of business without additional efficiencies over pay in vs risk. I worked for a national insurer for a while and electronic claims were several factors higher than health, life, or home.

Insurance companies also get parts wholesale and keep large stocks of referbished devices. Not saying they don't profit, but the margins aren't there because the pay in outweighs the risk, they're there because they have effective supply chains and manufacture direct deals to procure hardware at costs not offered to the general public.

The letterboxed app was good. It recently got bought by a larger company, so who knows for how long, but you can ride that ship for a while

Ye! I tried to allocate space for that in what I posted. I'm personally a vegetarian that likes a steak once or twice a year so I live on both sides of the fence. Essentially what I'm putting out though is that it's perfectly natural and probably a good thing when people find partners with similar lifestyle choices. It just makes life easier, and a relationship will struggle to work if it feels like significant compromise and work.
