The author obviously thought the value was worth it when he made the purchase. Now he’s sad that others think it’s worth less than he paid? So for him the perceived value of his purchase is based on what other people think, which is pretty sad. Then he does this self-depreciating write up about the experience, calling himself a fool.
Spend your money how you want, but don’t let other people’s opinions determine how you feel about it. You’ll get no sympathy from me, bud.

It’s calculated using the current score (up/down votes) in combination with how new it is.
So if the whole premise is based on Hammurabi’s Law: eye for an eye, life for a life, are they also planning to execute the babies whose mothers die from pregnancy-related complications, or am I off base here? Just wanna see where the line is.

Aren’t they all still WebKit under the hood though? Until they allow other web engines this is still just the illusion of choice.
I’d rather give the ad revenue dollars to a small, independent company like Plex over a media giant like ViacomCBS if the content is similar. Just my 2¢.
