I was in the stupid range where you can't go home for lunch, but also don't go by bus. None of the benefits except for a bit of light exercise walking to school.

I've seen this a lot, but having been a kid that lived right next to school, I always kind of envied the others, that had to come by bus. All the interesting things always happened on the school bus, and finding friends outside of your own class was basically impossible.
