I'm Norwegian, and travelled to the US in 2004. I remember people on the bus using their phones like this. On public transport. Never saw that in Norway back then.

I am also a kettle, but I figured I needed some motivation in my life to get to know more people. Moving from Norway to Bumfuck, Nowhere in Denmark has made it hard to make friends, but my wife and I got a puppy two weeks ago, and have signed him up for puppy training classes with other puppies. We'll also use the dog park in the towns nearby to meet people. I think that's a good way to meet people.

I'd also like to add that getting a puppy on a whim in NOT a good idea. We talked about this for years, and planned for months. My depression has gotten so much better, buy jesus christ, he can be a little hellspawn lol 😂

Haha, I remember taking my desktop and 19" CRT in my newspaper trolley to LAN parties in snow in Norway. The cover was great, but I also remember that my computer was driven to my house afterwards. I was too tired to drag it up the hill after not sleeping for days lol. Good times 🙂

I was looking for the movie when I opened the thread. I remember buying the special edition DVD, watched the movie, and put it away. It broke me, and I'll never forget it! One of the best movies ever created.
