And neither of those work for me!

Dammnn you just made my day! I'm not using my Mac for that. It doesn't have enough storage space on a good day. I have a Windows 10 computer that decided to change it's own password that I'll erase and put Linux on.

Do you have any recommendations on Linux OS? Right now I'm using Fedora but it seems like there are better options out there, especially if playing games.

I have a 64bit Mac that can't play 32bit Steam games anymore (which is all of them). I'm thinking of switching to Linux specifically for games. What you're saying so I could play whatever on Linux via steam? And Steam isn't a massive pain in the ass to install and configure like it used to be?? Holy shit, that's game changing. Pun intended.

Is Master Chief Collection on Steam? That would be amazing since the only instance of Windows I had decided to change it's own password and essentially lock me out.

Potatoes. You don't need a lot of light and they grow from the sprouts of old potatoes. They do need some water though. Same with other root vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes. But I've never managed to get a sweet potato to grow. Carrots and potatoes and tomatoes grow good in the fall and winter in az. Now I'm just trying to figure out what to grow to can for the summer months.

I don't like any of them. That said, I voted for C. It's kinda plain, but that's what I like about it. The other ones are too messy.

Warm winter? That was the coldest and wettest winter we've had in AZ in quite a few years.

Other than that, good news!

Using the connect for Lemmy app produces constant Under Maintenance or html code or 504 errors. It seems to load better on Chrome.

New Seller FAQ. I made a sale. Now what?

**How do I source items? ** The best places are garage sales, thrift stores, Goodwill, Goodwill Bins, and Salvation Army. You can also search on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace for going out of business sales, garage sales, and people selling bulk clothes for low prices.

I’ve found items but how do I know if it's a good price?

You have to do your research! Search on the app for similar items by that brand and the sort by “Sold”. You can also search other apps like eBay or Mercari and check their sold comps too.

Some brands have style or model numbers on their tags. Add that number to the search to see if you can find similar items or styles.

My item does not have a brand tag. Now what?

If your item still has the care tags attached (typically on an inside seam), see if there is an RN number. You can put that number into the search box on https://rn.ftc.gov/account/basicsearch to see who originally manufactured or imported the item. Alternatively, you can use Google Lens to help identify your item.

My item does not have a size tag. What should I do?

You should provide measurements in your listing! You can guess the approximate size, but also add measurements so the buyer knows for sure if it will fit them.

Poshmark is asking for a description. What should I say?

Start with major identifiers: brand name, size, color, pattern, notable style details (halter top, empire waist, capri, etc), type details (activewear, casual, formal, work, etc), and material content. Then add measurements. Armpit to armpit, armpit to hem, and shoulder seam to hem are the main ones for tops. Waist, inseam, and rise for pants.

Someone made me a low offer. Do I have to accept it?

No, it's your item. You get to set your price and that includes whether or not you accept a low offer.

*When I accept an offer, do I have to wait for the buyer to pay?

No, the buyer has already approved the purchase and allowed Poshmark to deduct the money.

When do I get paid?

You get paid after the item is delivered and the buyer accepts the purchase. If the buyer doesn't accept the purchase you have to wait 3 days.

What happens if I don't get paid within 3 days?

You'll have to contact Poshmark. See our main FAQ.

Can I ship in any box or only USPS boxes?

You can ship in any plain box, even reused Amazon boxes. You can also order USPS Flat Rate boxes, bags, and stickers from usps.com. The only packaging materials you CANNOT ship in are the USPS Flat Rate Express packages.

Do I have to include wrapping paper, stickers, free items, or thank you cards?

No, you do not have to include anything other than the item, unless your item is delicate. If your item is delicate it would be best to wrap it in bubble wrap, balled up tissue/news paper, and a second box. Delicate items include electronics or watches with glass.

If Poshmark sees you shipped your item inadequately they will approve a return.

How do I ensure my item is shipped with adequate protection?

Invest in boxes, bubble wrap, and newspapers. Wrapping an item with only newspaper is not adequate. Newspaper, when layered, is extremely hard and does not transfer shock very well. Bubble wrap and a second box will ensure that if your item is thrown, dropped, or kicked, the shock will be transferred through the cardboard and bubble wrap and not the item.

Granted, your item may still arrive damaged, but at least you can say you did the best wrapping job possible.

Help! My item is shipping USPS Parcel Select (Ground) and not Priority Mail!

Items placed in the Electronics category will be shipped by Parcel Select since they are assumed to have a lithium battery. Even if your item is electronic adjacent (like a camera accessory) and does not contain a battery, it will still be shipped with Parcel Select.

The buyer opened a case! Now what?

This is super case specific and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. But I’ll give you some advice.

Keep calm and collected. Only state facts. Only address poshmark and the issue at hand, do not address the buyer. Do not engage in arguments or personal attacks, even if you really want to.

Post your case details to the forum and we can provide more help/advice.

Do sellers rate the buyer?

No, they do not. You cannot leave a bad review for a buyer. Only buyers can leave reviews for sellers.

Oh, no! I got a 1 star feedback! It’s so unfair! Can I get rid of it?

You cannot get rid of the 1 star feedback. You can remove the text. The good news is that only you and the buyer that left it can see the feedback. No one else can see it!

Yes, it’s unfair, but we all have them. Suck it up buttercup.

Use google and add "site:Pinterest.com" then search by images. Works better than Pinterest. Also works for Poshmark.

The game is 170GB? Holy shit! I was going to get it but I don't have a single PC with that much storage space. Yikes.
