@EmperorHenry but isn't that like using two identical doorlocks with identical keys? I don't think this would bring any security/protection related benefits but instead would slow down the single devices connection.

@EmperorHenry I didn't say anything different but within my home network the whole network is behind a VPN so I don't need single devices to use a VPN. But as soon as I leave my home network I want the device's VPN to kick in.

@Scolding7300 @EmperorHenry my home network is secured without proton so I only need proton when being not at home

 

@protonprivacy How about an option in the vpn-app to always activate a VPN whenever the device is not connected to certain wifis?
